About Traci

Dynamic Leadership in Challenging Times

COMPASSIONATE

Traci has a strong history of building personal and professional relationships that rely on mutual respect, cooperation, and deep listening. While working for us in Augusta, she is forging bipartisan alliances to get struggling seniors, families, and small businesses the help they need.

EXPERIENCED

As a legislator, Traci is applying lessons from her successful career as an entrepreneur and manager, and her master’s degree in business, to understanding and addressing the challenges facing our state. She knows evidence-based approaches are needed to combat complex issues, and she is able to provide the critical, innovative thinking needed to help solve them.

COMMUNITY-ORIENTED

Traci’s two sons graduated from Kennebunk High School, and she served on several RSU21 task forces to support school enrollment and renovation. Deeply rooted in the core value of hard work, she values the importance of neighbors working together to improve their communities. She has been a responsive representative who listens to peoples’ concerns and believes in the worth of every citizen.

On the Issues

Addressing the Housing Crisis

As a legislator, Traci worked to make more housing options available to people at all income levels, especially for seniors looking to downsize and young people coming to the state, and lower costs for housing development nonprofits, which are instrumental in building attainable housing across the state.

Supporting Young Mainers

We must continue working to provide stable pathways for our children to remain in Maine and welcome young people seeking a better life. Prioritizing affordable and attainable housing, opportunities for education and job training, and a commitment to wage growth and small business development will help strengthen our communities and secure the future success and stability of those who call Maine home.

Working for Constituents

Helping constituents access services and resolve issues is a primary responsibility of a legislator. Traci’s open and accessible communication and dedication to problem solving saw her track down priority vaccines for constituents in need and help families struggling to navigate complex regulatory and zoning rules be able to build ADUs and additional units to help their families grow in place.
